Some things seem to remain unresolved. It’s sad to watch someone you care about destroy themselves with addiction. I have been there and have empathy for this disease that keeps us trapped beyond our will. God gives me hope when I can find none in the world. Times like these pass, and remember to feel the feelings I need to process the loss and let the sadness wash away. Having a source to replace the old patterns is a freedom from the bondage of self-pity. Old pathways can lead us astray, for the pain becomes a false alley to hide us from the truth of healing on the righteous path. Difficult decisions must be made to stay with light and the love of God. Nothing easy bears much fruit, for the sacrifice of self bears the fruit of salvation under cosmic law. I turn to you, the incredible power of the earth and cosmos, to remind me of the simple truth that I am not alone and there is much to be grateful for, even the challenges that allow me to turn towards change. So many times have I repeated the same mistakes, not knowing there was a solution to the dilemma. What a freedom it is to have the opportunity to make a new shift at any moment and find a fresh perspective that allows things to be seen clearly. Hope is fantastic, for it lifts me up when there is darkness blinding my love. Green pastures are where I water the seeds, and spiritually, I see that the other side of ego is my friend my partner my truth. The land is fertile because I am that abundance perfect as I am free to be me as the sun shines in my heart and love radiates my being.
