To Shine Bright As My Heart

  Shiny and bright I am from the journeys to the desert and the hot springs, I am in full balance with my beautiful nature. I have my cat sitting here at my feet cleaning herself and being a beautiful girl. I celebrate Friday by turning on all the beautiful lights in my house and enjoying some me time after a great recovery meeting. I make a gratitude list for all the things that I’m thankful for and to remind myself how far I’ve come. This summer has been such a magical journey, and I went to so many great regional burns in places I’ve never been before. My spirit sure loves to travel and learn about different cultures and how we make it through this world with joy and peace. My new baseline is soft and easy, and through this conscious place, more is accomplished, for I am spiritually centered, and the reality is manifesting that I am worthy and responsible as my favorite person. The words of compassion flow through my thoughts and, in turn, speak authenticity into the sphere of my beingness. Having understood my fears and how I avoid intimacy has taught me how to be a teacher and own my sovereignty as I continue to grow. We all help each other be the eyes and the reflection so we can have a reference to our shadow side. There is no reason to hide this side anymore, for there is no shame in this game, for I am just like anyone else. I have hard and dark times. Recovery helps me choose not to act on the darkness and lay it down to rest with positivity and sweet action of service. The highest way of expressing my love is through selfless service to others, for my ego doesn’t stand a chance to catch me up in its game. Thank God you have had the patience for me so I can find it for myself. I love we have a strong and kindred relationship based on trust and truth.
