Empathetic Cat Love

I am grateful to have my cat to snuggle with and lay around when I feel sad or lonely. She loves me unconditionally and I love her. The days when I am not at my best version Cleopawtra makes it ok for me to be where I need to be. When I accept my cat, she accepts me, and we are in a symbiotic, healthy relationship. This helps me have a better relationship with all the people in the world I live in. I am physically tired and drained from a long trip to the desert, so I am taking some time to rest, relax, and honor my inner child. We had so much fun being in authenticity at Burning Man and want to keep this expression strong in the default world. What is not said could be the thing that gets me in trouble, for it will build up and turn into an overreaction. I am learning to say what I am feeling more often than not now so that everyone is more comfortable and understanding of where I am at. I want to be more empathetic for myself because sometimes I am still rigid and uptight about how I do or do not do things. This underlying anger sabotages my relationship with my truth and defeats my joy in reality. I guess some triggers still need to be resolved with my mom and dad. I give up and surrender this anger to you, Higher Power, and ask for guidance when I am off track. I have tried so hard to let this go, but it still haunts me at times, for I feel so defeated and just want to run away from this immaturity. I cannot seem to figure this out on my own and I know there is nothing worth losing my sanity over. I will be more patient and stop being so critical over these petty inconveniences. I deserve to be loving and kind to myself, and I will think of more ways to honor the wounded boy who lingers for acknowledgment and empathetic grace. Thank you for understanding and giving me some space and time to figure us out.
