A Humble Life

Welcome to a life that is full and rich with the love for more. There are so many things to be grateful for like a friend to enjoy some precious time with. I find the older I get the more time I spend with others is becoming more important. I feel the need to practice all the steps daily and remember I am powerless over people places and things. To take action on self-honesty and to reach out to others when I feel alone. To carry the message and not the disease. I am going to meetings and reaching out for help. I have been meditating more to help with the darkness of the season. I could be more tolerant of my outside environment for the past week every little thing has been irritating me. I can take more action by surrounding my need to control my material environment people places and things. I can also go to the gym and work out my anger and sadness. I am getting back into my yoga flow. I remember to breathe through the energy. If I stay in God’s will and keep it first I don’t have to make amends because I am living in God’s grace that helps me stay humble peaceful loving and empathetic. If I forget to practice steps one through four then my ego or my will of self-centeredness and self-seeking projects onto myself and then it projects onto others. I may then fall into the process where I may have to make amends because of my selfish behavior. This is a choice I get to make daily and usually do my best to stay in this recovery process. I am grateful to have a choice today and this program to get this opportunity to stay with the spiritual principles and to grow through the challenges when I fall short. There’s always more darkness to work through and grateful to know that I love and light of my higher power that is enjoying this learning experience I call life. I like to imagine each day as a canvas to explore all the gifts life has to offer and to paint it with love and joy. The world could always use more love.
