Take The Power Back Of The Now

Thanks again higher power for the courage to face my loneliness and sit with this sadness and to realize that it is not going to kill me so I no longer need to run from it. I can grow up and be emotionally secure with god and that there is a healthy partner out there for me when I am ready. I am going to continue to be self-aware and honest in what my needs are and how to get them met. I found through a supportive support network based in recovery has been one of my greatest allies. This platform teaches me how to trust and love others unconditionally and with a new found place of acceptance. No one has treated me as poorly as I have treated myself. I no longer treat myself that way and if I catch myself in a guilt and shame loop, I take a look at what may be going on with a self-awareness check. Sometimes it may just be that I am tired or hungry or overthinking things. I must remember to take deep breaths and be present to the stillness in my being. When this peaceful place has been acknowledged and felt then I can free this ego mechanism that creates a place of fear and the distractions of misery and mistrust. I give my absolute faith that I will stay tuned into this frequency of self-love and discipline and that this is the best option for this spiritual freedom that has nothing to do with the intellectual mind. This inner knowing is there in all of us if we are willing to let go and let our reactions not rule the outcome. We all have a choice to take our power back just for this moment of now which is a true gift of the present.
